The Librarian answers three questions: what does GeoAmCan have, what can it do, and how can you use it? It draws on the current catalog, published documentation and MCP tool descriptions. It identifies relevant sources and makes coverage, access requirements and limitations explicit.

From a question to a practical next step
Expect a concise explanation with verified dataset references, appropriate endpoints or MCP tools, and links to the underlying documentation. Expand the response details for supported API examples. Ask a follow-up when you need a narrower geography, period or method.
The Librarian guides discovery. It does not execute your analysis, modify an account or grant data access. Data retrieval and geographic operations use the existing authorized API and MCP tools. The collection’s record counts include statistical source cells; they are not counts of distinct people or businesses.
Public access and account access
Public visitors can ask five guest questions, then must create a free account to continue. Registered free accounts include 20 messages per day, resetting at 00:00 UTC, subject to abuse controls and service availability. One submitted question is one chat. Suggestions fill the composer without submitting a message. Failed generations restore the chat allowance; ambiguous provider outcomes are reconciled before resubmission.
Eligible paid access uses account entitlements, plan quotas and AI credit accounting through the GeoAmCan account integration. Account features are offered when that integration is enabled. API and MCP access is provisioned separately; contact us about your application.
Privacy and trustworthy answers
Do not enter secrets or sensitive personal information. Anonymous conversations expire after 24 hours; signed-in conversations after 30 days. You can delete a completed conversation from its controls. Read our privacy notice and data methodology.
Availability can change. Check the cited release and geography before using a result. The Librarian distinguishes published data from unavailable features and explains where US and Canadian statistics use different definitions.
